The BuildingCookie policy
Last updated: 8 November 2026. This page explains which cookies and similar browser storage The Building (cozyblock.games) uses, and how to change your choice at any time with Cookie preferences.
1. Your choice
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, Google's certified consent message asks for your consent before any advertising cookie is used. Elsewhere, our own banner lets you accept all, keep essential only, or turn advertising off. Your choice is kept for 12 months, then we ask again. You can change it at any time with the Cookie preferences link at the bottom of every page (in the game: Settings → Cookie preferences).
2. Essential storage (always on)
-
Your game (
localStorage): your character, home, coins, friends, settings and progress, so you can continue where you left off. Signed-in players also have a copy on our server (see the privacy policy). - Sign-in with Google: Google Identity Services may set its own cookies on accounts.google.com to recognise your Google account when you sign in.
-
Your cookie choice (
cozyblock_cookie_consentinlocalStorage, and Google's consent cookies where its message is shown).
3. Advertising (only with your consent where required)
To keep the game free we show Google AdSense ads, only on the website pages and never over or inside the game. The only exception is optional: inside the game you can choose to watch a full-screen video ad (the "🎬 +50" button) to earn coins; it never starts on its own. Google and its partners may use cookies (such as those of doubleclick.net and googlesyndication.com) to show and measure ads and, with your consent, to personalise them. If you say no, you may still see non-personalised ads. Learn how Google uses data from sites that use its services and manage ad personalisation in Google Ad Settings.
4. Visit statistics (no cookies)
We count visits without cookies and without storing anything on your device: the details are in the privacy policy.
